Dear Parent,
I want to thank you for considering the ‘Little Hands’ Weekday Preschool offered by First Baptist Church.
I believe we have the highest quality early education program in this area. Our teachers are certified and experienced; but, more than that, they love children and they love the Lord. They serve out of a sense of calling and genuine desire to help children grow and develop.
In addition to learning ABCs, colors, motor skills and social skills; our program teaches children that Jesus loves them and church is a positive place for them to be.

What we offer:
The ‘Little Hands’ Weekday Preschool offers programs for the early development of three and four-year-olds that include:
- Separate classes for 3 year olds and 4 year olds;
- 2-day, 3-day and 5-day options:
- Small class sizes;
- Low teacher student ratio;
- Excellent and experienced teachers that love children;
- Strong developmental curriculum;
- Exceeds state licensing requirements;
- Excellent facilities
- Loving and caring Christian environment.
Classes are scheduled:
Three year olds:
- 3-Day Option: Monday/Wednesday/Friday
Four year olds
- 2-Day Option: Tuesday/Thursday
- 3-Day Option: Monday/Wednesday/Friday
- 5-Day Option: Monday through Friday
Classes begin the first full week of public school. Holidays, teacher workdays, and inclement weather cancellations will coincide with the Burkburnett School System.
Classes meet from 8:15 to 11:15 each morning.
Schedule of Fees:
- 2-Day Program | Tuesday/Thursday
Registration Fee: $55.00
Tuition: $55.00 per month
- 3-Day Program | Monday/Wednesday/Friday
Registration Fee: $65.00
Tuition: $65.00 per month
- 5-Day Program | Monday through Friday
Registration Fee: $85.00
Tuition: $85.00 per month
A child may not be enrolled until the registration fee is paid.
Fees are pro-rated for those that sign up mid-year.
Payments are due by the first of each month. A late fee will be assessed for payments not received by the 10th of the month. A total of nine payments (September through May) are made through out the year.
Eligibility of children:
Must be at least three years old by September first,
- Must be completely toilet trained,
- Must be emotionally ready to be separated from his/her parents,
- Must have current immunizations,
- Must be able to attend regularly,
Parents must be ready to share the care of their child with the staff of our center.
No preferential treatment will be given based on race or religious affiliation.
Curriculum
The content of our curriculum is determined by many factors including the theme of the unit being studied, teacher and parental input, and developmentally appropriate activities. We provide an integrated curriculum that support all areas of a child’s development, including spiritual, physical, emotional, social and cognitive levels. Our curriculum builds upon what the children already know and can do and is based on teachers’ observations. Through our curriculum, we seek to provide opportunities to support the child’s home culture and use learning activities and materials that are concrete, real, and relevant to lives of our children.
Mission Statement:
The mission of the ‘Little Hands’ Weekday Preschool of First Baptist Church is to glorify God:
- By helping preschool children to learn and develop mentally, physically emotionally, spiritually and socially as well as introduce them to the Christian concepts of God, Jesus, the Bible and the church in a safe and loving environment; and
- By providing opportunities to minister to families of preschoolers by building relationships and introducing them to the other ministries offered to families by First Baptist Church.
- Little Hands Weekday Preschool is a non-profit ministry of First Baptist Church to our community.
