Mission Friends is a coed missions organization for 3 year olds by Sept. 1st through Kindergarten. In Mission Friends, boys and girls begin to understand basic ideas about God’s love for people all over the world. Christian educators identify nine scope areas for preschoolers: God, Jesus, family, God’s creation, bible, self, community, world and church. Mission Friends curriculum focuses on one scope area per month.
Because preschoolers enjoy learning through hands-on activities, Mission Friends participate in sensory activities for the entire session. These might include items to see, touch, explore, music to hear, snacks to taste, and lots of interaction.
Mission Friends meet weekly on Sunday evenings from 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. from September - May and meets in the Pre-K room (107) on the first floor of the Education Building.
