Land Purchase

First Baptist Church of Burkburnett has experienced growth over the past few years in both Sunday School and in worship.  Because of the age of our facility, the location of our current facility, and the limited space of our current facility, on October 16, 2005, the church approved a recommendation to re-locate our church.

 

After an extensive search a 35 acre tract was approved (January 7, 2007) as the new location of our church.  The property is located on Kramer, 1/3 mile east of F.M. 369 on the north side of the road.  There is currently a wheat field on the property.  The church borrowed $269,000 to purchase the property and now owes approximately $60,000.
