What are your worship service times?
We have two morning worship services on Sundays: 8:15 am and 10:40 am. These services are identical in form and content. Between the two services, from 9:30 to 10:30, we have Sunday School classes for all age groups.
Our church has a fully staffed nursery available for children ages birth to Pre-K during both worship services. The nursery is located on the first floor of the children's building, which is just south of the main building.

How do I become a member of First Baptist Church?
First Baptist Church is a family of believers in Jesus Christ. You can become a member of the church family in one of four ways:
- Accepting Jesus as your Lord and Savior and being baptized by immersion.
- If you have already accepted Jesus but have not been baptized by immersion, then following Him in believer's baptism.
- Transfer of membership by letter from another Baptist church
- By "statement of faith" -- your statement of having previously accepted Christ and experienced baptism by immersion as a member of another church of like faith and belief or if you do not know where your membership is currently located.
Does joining your church make me a Baptist?
Joining First Baptist Church is a decision to affiliate with a local group of believers who are accountable to the authority of the Bible, practicing their faith, using their gifts and talents to serve the community, sharing their resources to do the work of God and reaching out to spiritual seekers who do not yet have a personal relationship with God.
First Baptist Church happens to be a Southern Baptist Church. Southern Baptist churches are autonomous. This means that each individual church decides what it will teach and how it will minister in the community and the world. There is no governing body that regulates church activities, polity or staff selection. First Baptist chooses to affiliate with Southern Baptist Churches because we believe it is the best way to cooperate with other churches to work together to do things we could not accomplish alone. Through our financial gifts to the local, state and national conventions, we build hospitals, provide seminaries, do mission work and establish benevolent organizations worldwide for hundreds of purposes. When you join First Baptist Church you affiliate with this group as long as you remain a member of the church.

Sunday School meets at 9:30 am on Sunday morning for Bible study. We have classes for all ages. The purpose of Sunday School is to REACH all people for Jesus Christ, TEACH them through life-changing Bible Study, and MINISTER to them through caring relationships. More Sunday School info ►

How do I enroll in a Sunday School class?
There are several easy ways to get into a Sunday School class:
- Visit a class on a Sunday morning and enroll.
- Call the church office at 940.569.1434 for more information.
- Or, check the "Please contact me with more information about FBC" on the "Response Card" in the Sunday bulletin and we will call you.

Who should I contact to find out about being baptized?
We regularly schedule baptisms at First Baptist Church. We believe it is the next step of obedience after receiving Jesus as Lord and Savior. If you would like to be baptized, call the church office at 940.569.1434 or email Bro. Bill.
