Q&As about Church Membership

We accept members into our church fellowship in one of the following ways: 

  • Commit your life to Christ - If you accept the gift of Salvation from Christ and present yourself for baptism as a symbol of your new life. 

  • By baptism - If you are coming as a new Christian or from a church of another denomination whose view of baptism is different from the New Testament baptism practiced by Southern Baptists.

  • Transfer of membership from another Southern Baptist Church - If you are coming from another Baptist church of like faith and belief.

  • By statement of faith - If you are coming as a member of  a church of like faith and belief or do not know where your membership is currently located.
